Data are not put into a field unless Enter is pressed

Rating9.0Excellent

In one of my applications, data typed into fields of forms are not transferred into the tables unless Enter is pressed. If anything else is done (say, a command button is pressed triggering some other action), the new data put in the field are lost. How could I get rid of this?
