selecting records based on value populated in a field
I am trying to copy records into a table that include a particular value as part of a field. As an example, if there were two records with the following values in a particular field:
xyz-123-tom
123-joe-xyz
if the "xyz" portion is the filter and I am trying to find all records in that field that contain xyz and it might have something else populated before or after that value, what is the command?
